POKHARA, May 10: Gandaki Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel has appealed to all the people of the Province to participate in the election for the election worthy candidates without being influenced by anything and adhering fully to the election code of conduct.
In a message issued on Tuesday on the upcoming local level election 2022, Chief Minister Pokharel said, "I am confident that you will exercise your voting right judiciously as our vote is vital for the country's transformation."

Stating that the local government is close to the people and supports all their activities, CM Pokharel said that we can get the service we want in the next five years only if we can choose a candidate who believes in democracy, is capable of defending people's rights, is development-loving, honest, and is conscientious.
The Chief Minister has mentioned that periodic elections are a necessary condition for preserving the achievements of the Nepali people through long and hard struggle. “It is the responsibility of the government, political parties, civil society, private sector and the mass media to conduct the local elections on May 13 in a fearless, fair and dignified manner,'' reads the message.
Expressing best wishes for the successful conduct of the local elections in a fair and fearless environment with involvement of as many people as possible, CM Pokhrel requested all to maintain social distance and health safety protocols as fear of COVID-19 is still not over.
