Children being given second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 from today

KATHMANDU, July 18:  From today, children from five to 12 years of age are being given the second dose of vaccines against COVID-19. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the second dose is going to be given to children in 27 districts who received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine.

KATHMANDU, July 18:  From today, children from five to 12 years of age are being given the second dose of vaccines against COVID-19. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the second dose is going to be given to children in 27 districts who received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine.  


The ministry has asked to carry the card containing the first dose while going for the second dose of vaccination. According to the ministry, the vaccines will be given from the schools where the vaccination centers were established earlier until 24th of July.

Children in Jhapa, Ilam, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Dhanusha, Parsa, Siraha, Mahottari, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Makwanpur, Kaski, Nawalparasi East, Nawalparasi West, Rupandehi, Banke, Dang, Bardia, Surkhet, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dadeldhura will be given the second dose of vaccines.
