Chinese Communist Party condoles death of PM Dahal’s wife

KATHMANDU,  July 13: The Communist Party of China has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU,  July 13: The Communist Party of China has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


In a message of condolence, Liu Jianchao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party, has extended deep condolences to PM Dahal and to the bereaved family at this hour of grief.

“Sita Dahal worked as an important leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) and she also participated in the visit to China at the invitation of our department,” the condolence message said, “We express our deep sorrow over her death.”


Prime Minister Dahal's wife died on Wednesday morning during treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.
