KATHMANDU, March 25: Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China and State Councilor Wang Yi is set to arrive in Nepal at 4PM today for a three-day visit.
Official programs of PM Dahal’s China visit begins today
Wang started his trip from Pakistan, followed by India, after which he is set to arrive in Kathmandu later today. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, no formal program has been scheduled for today as the Chinese diplomat will be arriving a few hours ahead of the scheduled time.
High-ranking leaders of major political parties have expressed concern that the visit should be used as an opportunity to improve relations between Nepal and China, as the visit is taking place at a time when the relations between the two countries are at a standstill.
