Chula Chuli into final

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Chula Chuli English Boarding School of Jhapa has advanced to the final of the boys’ section of Coca Cola Cup beating Bhanubhakta Memorial English Secondary School, Morang on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Chula Chuli English Boarding School of Jhapa has advanced to the final of the boys’ section of Coca Cola Cup beating Bhanubhakta Memorial English Secondary School, Morang on Sunday. 


In the semifinal match played at the ANFA Complex, Chula Chuli overcame Bhanubhakta 4-3 on penalties and booked its place in the final to vie against Halchowk Higher Secondary School of Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, in the girls category, Durga Higher Secondary School of Rautahat defeated Ideal Higher Secondary School of Kathmandu 3-1. Rashmi Kumari Ghising, Ashmita Baidhya , Menuka Ale Magar scored one goal each for Durga Higher Secondary School while Preeti Rai scored consolation for Ideal.


Similarly in another match, Sainik Higher Secondary School of Bhaktapur overcame Bal Bidhya Bikash of Syanja 1-2. Shova Pangeni and Riya Banu scored for the winning side while Sandhya Puri scored only goal for Sainik Higher Secondary School. 


Bal Kalyan of Morang will face Nepal Rashtriya Higher Secondary School of Kathmandu while Durga Higher Secondary School, Rautahat will vie against Ideal Higher Secondary School of Kathmandu in the girls’ semifinals.
