KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Commission for the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed corruption cases at the Special Court against former village development secretaries of Allau VDC in Parsa. In its charge sheet, the CIAA has accused for VDC secretaries Rameshwar Prasad Sah and Manoj Kumar Sah of embezzling social security allowances provided by the government.
According to the anti-graft body, the ex-secretaries misused Rs 30,39,182 budget allocated under social security schemes during the fiscal years 2009-2010 to 2013. The CIAA has sought recovery of the misused fund and punishment for the accused in accordance with the Corruption Prevention Act 2002.
