CIAA files case against primary teacher at Special Court

KATHMANDU, March 2: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge sheet at the Special Court on Thursday against a primary school teacher for using fake teaching license.

KATHMANDU, March 2: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge sheet at the Special Court on Thursday against a primary school teacher for using fake teaching license.


The CIAA has charged Lok Bahadur Shahi, a primary teacher of Janapriya Primary School of Tampti of Jumla district, for using fake teaching license to get appointment to the post. The anti-graft body has filed the case against the accused teacher as per the Section 16(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act 2003.

In a press statement released by the CIAA on Thursday, it has stated that Shahi used the fake document to get appointment and served in the capacity of the primary teacher for more than 6 years.
