KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge sheet against the headmaster and the accountant of Anirudra Public Secondary School of Yasodhara Rural Municipality in Kapilvastu for embezzling Rs 782,651 from the schools' funds.
The anti-graft body has filed a case against headmaster Devendra Mani Tripathi and accountant Asfri Yadav, who also works as office assistant of the school.

Stating that the two had embezzled the money of the school to establish a science lab, the CIAA said that a charge sheet has been filed against Tripath and Yadav after a complaint was registered against them.
According to the CIAA, the two are accused of embezzling Rs 782,651 from the school fund and had made fake bills to cover their work. A case has been filed against the two under section 17 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2001.
