KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Employees working under contract at the Civil Service Hospital staged a demonstration on Thursday.
The agitating employees from the radiology department displayed black banners and placards outlining a five-point demand opposing the decision to promote them through internal competition.

They presented banners with slogans such as ‘Where is the evaluation of 12 years of service,’ ‘evaluate service performance,’ ‘arrange gratuity for the employees,’ and ‘What does the hospital reply when asked for an evaluation of 12 years of service?: Leave the service and go.’
