KATHMANDU, May 8: Supporters and well-wishers of Sandeep Lamichhane held a protest on Wednesday demanding justice for the rape-accused cricketer. Participants of the Sandeep Bachau Abhiyaan (Save Sandeep campaign), organised by Youth for Nation, held the demonstration at Maitighar, Kathmandu, demanding justice for Lamichhane.

They staged a demonstration carrying placards with slogans such as ‘Justice for Sandeep’, ‘Sandeep cannot be killed alive’, and ‘Sandeep is our pride’.
