KATHMANDU, May 21: After a rat was detected in Buddha Air's aircraft 9N-AJL, the flight from Janakput to Kathmandu was aborted in Janakpur on Saturday. A passenger saw that there was a rat in the aircraft. Buddha Air said that commercial flights will be resumed from Sunday afternoon after further inspection of the aircraft.
Buddha Air said that the rat was caught in a trap on Sunday morning and the entire plane was checked and run-up for 2-3 hours and more precautions were taken.

The pilot and technical team brought the aircraft to Kathmandu on Sunday itself.
Buddha Air also requested the passengers to bring their baggage and luggage properly packed and sealed.
