‘Dhuku:’, a concept store situated at Uttar Dhoka was launched on Saturday by Ambassador of European Union to Nepal, Veronica Cody.
The concept store has been established with an aim to promote products made by women entrepreneurs. ‘Dhuku:’ is owned by Niti Joshi, who has an artistic family background and, though she is not into brush and canvas, she has been supporting art scenario since 1999 and this concept store is one of her endeavors to contribute toward art and crafts of Nepal.
The kitchen queen
Joshi has participated in various national and international trade fairs. She has visited Russia, Poland and China to participate in trade fairs and is planning to visit UK, US, Finland, Italy and Germany for the same.
The concept store accommodates a beauty parlor, restaurant and frame shop, having ample space for parking. At the store one can find silver jewelry items, décor items, herbal products, bags, among others.
This concept store focuses on empowering Nepali women and promoting their products in national and international scenario and hopes to get constant support from the customers for sustainability.
