KATHMANDU, May 19: A meeting of the National Assembly has passed a condolence motion on the demise of then Constituent Assembly member Purushottam Basnet.
National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina presented the condolence proposal in the Assembly meeting today.

Nepali Congress leader and Constituent Assembly member Basnet died on May 12. He passed away at his residence in Siphal after a protracted illness. He was 78.
The National Assembly will next meet at 6.16 PM today.
