KATHMANDU, July 14: Main opposition party Nepali Congress has demanded the age limit for the senior citizen to be brought down to 65 years. Currently one can avail the senior citizen facilities only at 70.

The party demanded the same at the Federal Parliament meeting on Sunday. NC’s whip Pushpa Bhusal put forward the proposal for the new age limit for senior citizens. Bhusal said that the age limit should be decreased considering the challenging topography of the country.
