Construction company fined Rs 6.5 million for illegal excavation

KAWASOTI, Dec 12: The District Monitoring Committee has taken a decision to slap a fine against Savriddhi Nirman Sewa for illegally dredging materials from the Kerung river at Kawasoti of Nawalparasi district.

KAWASOTI, Dec 12: The District Monitoring Committee has taken a decision to slap a fine against Savriddhi Nirman Sewa for illegally dredging materials from the Kerung river at Kawasoti of Nawalparasi district. 



The Committee meeting presided over by Chief District Officer (CDO), Udaya Bahadur Rana, has sought Rs 6.5 million in fine after a technical evaluation of the materials extracted from the river. 



CDO Rana and Local Development Officer (LDO) Jivlal Bhusal have taken the initiative for putting an end to the illegal excavation in the river following complaints from the locals. RSS
