SURKHET, May 23: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Matrika Prasad Yadav, has said that the federalism would be successful only if there would be coordination among three-tier governments.
Addressing a program organized to handover the under construction Micro Industrial Village at Birendranagar, Minister Yadav said that coordination and collaboration among the three-tier governments was the main spirit of the constitution. He said, "There is no alternative to three-tier governments to move ahead by helping each other."

The Industry Minister further said that the attraction of foreign investment has been increased in the country after the investment summit. Minister Yadav said that the government has been creating an environment conducive for investment by revising existing acts and laws. Similarly, Chief Minister of Karnali State, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, said that there was a challenge in the implementation of the constitution.
Saying conspiracy is being hatched to weaken the state and local levels in different pretexts, he claimed that the federalism could not be successful until local levels become strong. Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Yam Kumari Budha, said that the government has put programs increasing production and creating employment through micro-enterprises in priority. The industrial village having 62 rooms in four blocks is under construction at a cost of Rs 151.6 million.
