Couple arrested in Sonam's house robbery

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's residence in Delhi was reportedly robbed in February. It was reported that cash and jewelry worth Rs 2.41 crore was stolen. Sonam's mother-in-law lodged a complaint at the Tughlaq Road police station and their staff is being questioned in the matter. According to the latest report, the cops have arrested a couple in connection with the theft.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's residence in Delhi was reportedly robbed in February. It was reported that cash and jewelry worth Rs 2.41 crore was stolen. Sonam's mother-in-law lodged a complaint at the Tughlaq Road police station and their staff is being questioned in the matter. According to the latest report, the cops have arrested a couple in connection with the theft.

ANI took to Twitter and shared the official quote of New Delhi's DCP, Amrutha Guguloth. The tweet read, "A couple arrested in connection with Rs 2.41 crore robbery at actor Sonam Kapoor's in-laws' residence in Delhi." 

Earlier, Anand's grandmother Sarla Ahuja claimed she got to know of the theft on February 11 when she checked her cupboards for jewelry and cash. She had last checked the jewelry 2 years ago. The complaint was lodged on February 23.


Meanwhile, Sonam and Anand are all set to welcome their first baby soon. The couple made the official announcement recently and took the internet by storm. Sonam and Anand are currently in Mumbai.
