Bhimlal Sunar, 46, and his wife, Sabitri Sunar, 46, of Jomsom, Mustang, died on Monday, while they were supplying electricity in a canal to catch fish in Patneri, Pokhara Metropolitan City-19. A team of police personnel from Area Police Office, Sishuwa reached the spot after receiving information that the couple was injured due to electric shock.


Spokesman at the District Police Office, Kaski DSP Shravan Kumar BK said that the two people were rescued from the scene by the police and taken to Paschimanchal Regional Hospital under Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences. The bodies of the deceased couple have been kept at the hospital for post-mortem.
