COVID-19: Govt decides to close schools, colleges till April 12

KATHMANDU, March 18: The government on Wednesday to close schools, colleges and childhood development centers till April 12 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

KATHMANDU, March 18: The government on Wednesday to close schools, colleges and childhood development centers till April 12 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.


A meeting of the high-level government committee formed to prevent and contain the COVID-19 took a decision to this effect today afternoon.

However, the meeting has decided not halt the SEE examination which is scheduled to begin from Thursday. The committee said that health desks will be set up at the SEE examination centers. 


The commitee meeting has not said anything about the examinations to be conducted by various unversities in the coming days.
