COVID-19 vaccines being administered to those leaving Kathmandu Valley for Tihar

KATHMANDU, Nov 2: The government is administering COVID-19 vaccines to those leaving the Kathmandu Valley for the Tihar festival. People, in large numbers, leave for their hometowns to celebrate the festival with their families.

KATHMANDU, Nov 2: The government is administering COVID-19 vaccines to those leaving the Kathmandu Valley for the Tihar festival. People, in large numbers, leave for their hometowns to celebrate the festival with their families.

The vaccines are being administered at four locations including Koteshwor Chowk, Gongabu Buspark, Balkhu Chowk and Kalanki Chowk. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the campaign will be held for two days- Tuesday and Wednesday.


People can visit the vaccination sites with documents that disclose their identities to get Vero Cell and AstraZeneca vaccines. The vaccines have been made available from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
