KATHMANDU, Aug 13: A Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the CPN (UML) is taking place today for the first time after quitting the government.
Secretary of the CPN-UML)Party Office, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, said that the meeting has been called to hold discussion on different issues including situation after the formation of a new government, party's role and expansion of party's provincial committees.
The review of party Chairman KP Sharma Oli led-government would also be carried out in the meeting, it is learnt.
The meeting has been called at 3:00 pm. Oli had tendered his resignation from the post of PM on July 24 after CPN (Maoist Centre) withdrew its support from the government. RSS
