KATHMANDU, June 19: The crusher, mining, and sand industrialists have given the government a 15-day ultimatum to renew their industries.
The Federation of Nepal Crusher and Mining Industry Entrepreneurs (FNCMIE) held a press conference in Kathmandu on Sunday and warned that if the industry is not renewed by June 29th, the crusher and mining industry will be stopped.

The industrialists have warned that if there is no written instruction to the subordinate bodies to renew by June 29, 2023, they will halt the production, sales, and distribution of crusher, mining, and sand industries across the country from June 29.
Sitaram Neupane, president of FNCMIE, said that the government is not serious about solving the problem due to impractical decisions issued by the Nepalese government over the past 10 years.
He stated, "If the government addresses our issue, we are willing to discuss it with them. We believe that the government will act as a guardian. We are ready to engage in discussions with the government if it addresses the grievances of private sector businessmen."
He also claimed that they were facing a dual legal situation. He explained, "There are two sets of laws regarding raw materials and industries. According to the local government law, stones, sand, and gravel are being mobilized. Our industries are operated in accordance with the Industrial Rules of the Ministry of Industries. The issue of excavation has been falsely associated with crushers to defame us."
