KATHMANDU, Nov 7: The health condition of the wife of CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is becoming more serious.
Sita Dahal, who was admitted to Medicity Hospital in Lalitpur on Saturday after her health condition deteriorated, has been kept on Non-Invasive Ventilator (NIV). "She was admitted to the hospital on Saturday due to worsening health condition," said a hospital source, adding that she is being treated on a non-invasive ventilator.

Only last Monday, Sita was taken home after 16 days of treatment at the hospital. Doctors involved in her treatment said her health condition has become more and more serious. However, there is no need to give up hope right now," the hospital source said.
Sita Dahal has been suffering from a complex type of disease 'Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP)' for a long time. According to doctors, it is a disease that cannot be fully cured and can only be prevented.
She is also suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. She is now being treated under the supervision of senior neurologist at Medicity-Baburam Pokharel.
