Mohan Baidya in hospital for four days, health returning to normal

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: There has been a general improvement in the health condition of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya.

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: There has been a general improvement in the health condition of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya.


Baidya was admitted to the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj last Saturday after he developed an infection in his chest.

According to Dr. Niraj Bam, a senior chest specialist involved in his treatment, there has been an improvement in Baidya's health.


He said that Baidya, who has been suffering from asthma for a long time, is currently being treated with oxygen support.


He said, 'Currently, his health condition is improving. He is on oxygen support.'
