KATHMANDU, Oct 15: The dengue infection has risen in Kavrepalanchowk again. According to the District Health Office, Dhulikhel, currently around 100 people are infected with dengue in 10 local bodies of the district.
According to the office, the number of dengue infected, which was around 50 last week, has increased to 103. It is said that Banepa Municipality has the highest number of infected people. Of these, 20 women and 21 men are infected.

Similarly, 21 people are infected with dengue in Dhulikhel and 12 in Namobuddha. According to Rajaram Adhikari, acting head of the office, there are seven infected in Mandan Deupur town, seven in Roshi village council, seven in Panchkhal town, four in Panauti town and one each in Bhumlu, Temal, Khanikhola, Chaunrideurali and Mahabharat rural municipality. According to him, the dengue infection is expected to increase in a few days.
It is said that some of the infected are being treated in different hospitals. In Kavrepalanchowk, six hundred and eighty people have already been infected with dengue. In Kavrepalanchok, a high-risk area for dengue, a 'search and destroy' campaign was conducted every Friday for a few months. Kavrepalanchowk is also among the 10 districts of Nepal with high risk of dengue.
Mosquitoes can live in vehicle repair centers, tires, water ponds, farm tires, water ponds, tires in industries, factories, hotels and businesses, pots in homes and offices, decorative materials, water ponds in monasteries and temples. The government has been appealing to clean the place regularly and prevent water from freezing.
