Dhading bus mishap victims yet to receive relief packages

DHADING, Jun 1: Families of the bus accident victims in Gajuri rural municipality have not received relief packages yet.


The victims’ families have not got relief packages, and compensation for the covered loss.


Sinddharth insurance company, who had underwritten the insurance for the coverage of the bus, denied paying the compensation arguing that the insurance expired six months before the accident.

The ill-fated bus, Na 6 Kha 1467, coming to Kathmandu from Hetauda had skidded off and plunged into the Trishuli River on October 28, killing 34 people and injuring 16.


Police has taken bus owner Sabina Tuladhar into custody after Sushil Mukhiya, the operator of Sandesh Transport P. Ltd, did not turn up at the administrative section.
