Cabinet discusses about garbage piled up in Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU, April 11: There was a discussion in the Council of Ministers about Kathmandu Metropolitan City not picking up the garbage of Baluwatar, Singha Durbar and Shital Niwas.

KATHMANDU, April 11: There was a discussion in the Council of Ministers about Kathmandu Metropolitan City not picking up the garbage of Baluwatar, Singha Durbar and Shital Niwas.


In the cabinet meeting held today, it has been decided to take seriously the statement made by Balen Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, that he will not pick up the garbage from these places and to take the necessary initiatives for a solution.

A minister who attended the cabinet meeting said that the Council of Ministers agreed that the mayor of KMC took extreme measures against the policy of the metropolis.


Saying that the federal government did not help, Mayor Shah said that he would not pick up the garbage of Baluwatar, Singha Durbar and Shital Niwas.
