Discussions on Appropriation Bill conclude

KATHMANDU, July 5: The discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the Legislature-Parliament has concluded Tuesday. With this, a work schedule has been released that the concerned ministers would furnish responses to the queries from Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 5: The discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the Legislature-Parliament has concluded Tuesday. With this, a work schedule has been released that the concerned ministers would furnish responses to the queries from Wednesday.


As per the schedule, the concerned ministers would respond to the queries raised by the parliamentarians on the issues relating to the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Population and Environment, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Irrigation, Ministry of Supplies, Ministry of General Administration, Ministry of Livestock Development, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Land Reform and Agriculture.

The discussion that began on June 29 was disrupted for some days after the main opposition Nepali Congress obstructed demanding Rs 150,000 as the first tranche of the relief fund to the earthquake survivors. And, the obstruction was cleared after the agreement for the same.



The budget would be passed after the ministers complete giving replies to the lawmakers' queries.


The Legislature-Parliament is to meet next at 11:00 am Wednesday. RSS
