District court extends judicial custody of rape-accused Siddhababa

INARUWA, Dec 16: Sunsari district court on Monday extended judicial custody of rape-accused Krishna Bahadur Giri, known as Siddhababa, by seven days.

INARUWA, Dec 16: Sunsari district court on Monday extended judicial custody of rape-accused Krishna Bahadur Giri, known as Siddhababa, by seven days. 


Giri has been accused of raping his follower. This is the third time judicial custody of Giri has been extended following his rape allegation.

 According to the verdict by a single bench of judge Mani Ram Neupane, investigations into the incident would go on by keeping Giri at a hospital under the surveillance of the police, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Sharma. 


Giri, who was admitted to a hospital in Biratnagar after being accused of the rape, is receiving treatment for his health problems, informed the police.
