Docs off to Ilam to assess Dr. KC's health condition after DPM's direction

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: A team of four doctors from Dharan is leaving for Ilam to assess deteriorating health condition of Dr. Govinda KC.

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: A team of four doctors from Dharan is leaving for Ilam to assess deteriorating health condition of Dr. Govinda KC.


Upendra Yadav, the deputy prime minister and minister of Health and Population directed four doctors from BP Koirala Health Sciences Academy, Dharan to assess Dr. KC's health condition, according to Bhakta Thapa, the minister's press advisor.

The team consists of Assistant Director, Bikash Shah, cardiologist Dr. Prashant Shah, General Physician Dr. Ajaya Yadav, Anesthesiologist Dr. Sabin Bhandari, Lab person Jitendra Yadav and an Intensive Care Unit based nurse, Nirmala Basnet.
