According to Gautam, Dr KC is fully determined to pile pressure on the government so as to bring out the National Medical Education Bill as agreed with him earlier. Dr KC started to stage hunger strike after The Education and Health Committee of the Legislature Parliament on Wednesday endorsed the bill without incorporating his demands.

The health condition of Dr KC is deteriorating day by day. He is frail and cannot even sit up since Saturday said Dr. Ram Krishna Acharya. Level of glucose and blood pressure is decreasing.

This is KC's 16th hunger strike.
