Dahal explained that one child died during the night and another succumbed to the burn injuries in the morning. The District Police Office Dolpa reported the deaths of 12-year-old Bivash Buda and 13-year-old Samant Buda in Kathmandu.

The three children, who had gone to pick mushrooms in a forest near the village, suffered severe injuries in the fire. Ranjit Buda, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 4, expressed that despite extensive efforts to save them, their lives couldn't be saved. He mentioned that the entire village is in mourning after losing three children in the fire, two of whom were from the same household.

Tripurasundari Municipality arranged for a helicopter to transport the injured children to Kathmandu for treatment.

Additionally, three out of the four soldiers injured while battling a fire in the Mashta Community Forest in Thuli Bheri Municipality 4 in Dolpa have also passed away, as reported on Tuesday.
