Domestic, int’l flights at TIA affected due to bad weather

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Domestic and international flights from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have been affected due to adverse weather on Friday.

According to the Tribhuvan International Airport office, landing of the aircrafts has been affected due to the adverse weather condition. Some aircrafts had to remain on hold for a long time due to poor visibility for landing. Similarly, some flights have been delayed due to bad weather. There is a problem of flight cancellation in some places as well.


According to the TIA Office, scheduled flights to Simara have been canceled in the morning and passengers to other destinations are affected due to flight delays. The weather is generally cloudy throughout the country today due to the influence of the Westerly low-pressure system.
