Domestic tourist missing since four days

MANANG, June 1: A man who came as a tourist to visit Manang has been out of contact for the past four days.

MANANG, June 1: A man who came as a tourist to visit Manang has been out of contact for the past four days. 


Prakash Gorkhali,31, of Nakhipot in Lalitpur remains missing since the afternoon of May 29.

Chief District Officer Subas Kumar Lamichhane shared that information was received that Gorkhali has been missing from Byas Ghumti in Manang Ngisyang Rural Municipality-9 while going to Tilicho Lake. Three others accompanying him informed the police about the incident, and are requesting a search. 


A team of local residents, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force personnel and others are currently searching for Gorkhali.


A drone will be used to locate missing Gorkhali, said CDO Lamichhane.
