KATHMANDU, March 14: Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav is going to move to the Liaison Office designated for the Chief Minister at Bhaisepati in Lalipur after being unable to secure accommodation at the Ministers’ Quarters in Pulchowk. Madhesh Chief Minister Saroj Yadav has agreed to vacate the quarter for Upendra Yadav.
Suman Salike, the acting head of the Construction and Management Office of the Federal Secretariat under the Ministry of Urban Development, confirmed that Yadav will now occupy the residence where the Chief Minister of Madhesh Province currently resides.

"The Chief Minister of Madhesh Province has vacated his residence for the Deputy Prime Minister after he was unable to find a place at the Ministers’ Quarters in Pulchowk," Salike stated.
Following the decision to relocate DPM Yadav to Bhainsepati, the management office staff have undertaken painting and cleaning of the quarters designated for Upendra Yadav. All necessary items for the Deputy Prime Minister and his family members have been arranged, including curtains, bedsheets, and quilts. It is estimated that at least Rs 600,000 will be spent on procuring goods for a new minister in the Ministers’ Quarters in case of a change in leadership.
According to sources from the management office, last Thursday, a member of Saroj Yadav's family inquired about booking a block within the Ministers’ Quarters. However, the staff informed them that all blocks had already been reserved. Consequently, Chief Minister Saroj Yadav will reside in his own house in Kathmandu while accommodating Upendra Yadav in the Liaison Office.
