GODAR (Dhanusha), March 15: Dr Ankur Shah has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS).
Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav on Thursday appointed Dr Shah to the post as recommended by a recommendation committee formed under the convenorship of MIHS Pro-Chancellor and provincial government minister for health and population, Birendra Prasad Singh.
Dr Deb Narayan Shah appointed NAMS vice-chancellor
Dr Shah's name was at the top of the list of individuals recommended by the committee for an appointment as the MIHS Vice-Chancellor. Dr Shah is also the MIHS Rector and the Officiating Vice-Chancellor. Fifteen people had applied for the post.
The post had fallen vacant following the death of Vice-Chancellor Dr Ram Kewal Shah on June 8, 2023.
