KATHMANDU, March 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed Dr Deb Narayan Shah the vice-chancellor of National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) on Friday.
The prime minister appointed Professor Shah the vice-chancellor of NAMS as per the recommendation of Health Minister and pro-chancellor of NAMS Upendra Yadav.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Yadav appointed four office bearers of the NAMS as recommended by NAMS vice-chancellor Shah.

Subodh Kumar Adhikari has been appointed the rector, Pramila Dewan registrar, Piyush Dahal dean and Kedar Prasad Senchury the director for the next four years, according to a press statement issued by the Prime Minister's secretariat.
Amid a function held at the Prime Minister's Official residence, Baluwatar, the health minister administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed office bearers of the NAMS including vice-chancellor Shah.
