Dr Govind KC arrives at Bheri Hospital to treat quake victims

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 5: Senior orthopedic surgeon and philanthropic activist Dr Govind KC arrived at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj on Sunday for the treatment of those injured in the recent earthquake.

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 5: Senior orthopedic surgeon and philanthropic activist Dr Govind KC arrived at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj on Sunday for the treatment of those injured in the recent earthquake.


Dr KC reached the hospital and started treatment of the injured after seeing the reports of the patients undergoing treatment there.

Upon studying the reports of the patients receiving medical care at the hospital, Dr KC actively engaged in their treatment.


An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred on Friday night with its epicenter at Lamidanda in Jajarkot.


So far, 157 people have died and more than 200 people have sustained injuries in the earthquake. According to the police, 105 people died in Jajarkot and 52 in West Rukum. Rescue operations and relief distribution in the affected areas continue.
