The landslide is said to be around 250 metres long. It was intense one week back and has now somewhat subsided. The landslide debris that has directly fallen into the river has also blocked the water flow in the river.

Locals said that the dry landslide had originated from the spot where the construction of the Jayaramghat-Moli road under the Dudhkosi Corridor was started.

Around 12 houses at Ribdom village of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-6 are at an imminent risk from this landslide. (RSS)
