GORKHA, Aug 22: Landslide triggered after the heavy rainfall at Barpak Sulikot rural municipality-2 of Gorkha district on Wednesday night has swept away a house and has kept 29 houses at risk.
The landslide has kept settlements of three villages at risk, said ward chair Lal Bahadur Gurung. A house belonging to a local Dev Gurung was swept away by the landslide. Eighteen houses of Thailidanda are at the risk due to the landslide, he added.

"Though the landslide has not completely damaged the houses, settlements are at high-risk", said chair Gurung.
Similarly, six houses at Snan village below the church are at the risk of landslide. The landslide has damaged six houses at Ruduk village. A grocery shop was also swept away in the landslide.
