Addressing at press meet, President Poudel said the audience who come to watch the movie in Gopi Krisna Hall will get their tickets through E-ticketing system in few days. She said the implementation of box office system will be made compulsory from new fiscal year 2075/76 BS. Similarly, the process to install servers in halls outside Kathmandu Valley has already begun and the board will also help single theaters with weak financial status in the process.

Meanwhile, some hall operators have accused Paudel of trying to implement the box office system which according to them is not practically possible to use in various parts of the country. They have also threatened to challenge the decision in the court.

However, President Poudel said that those who have stood against the new system were doing so due to lack of knowledge about the system. She stressed that all the sides including hall operators, producers, directors and actor must be more transparent when it comes to paying tax to the state.
