Earthquake update: Six more survivors brought to Nepalgunj

BANKE, Nov 5: Six more earthquake survivors from Jajarkot and Rukum West were brought to the Nepalgunj-based Bheri Hospital in Banke.

BANKE, Nov 5: Six more earthquake survivors from Jajarkot and Rukum West were brought to the Nepalgunj-based Bheri Hospital in Banke.


According to Banke's Chief District Officer Shrwan Kumar Pokharel, they were brought to the hospital at 12:30 AM today in an ambulance. Of them, two are from Bheri Municipality in Jajarkot and four from Sanobheri Rural Municipality in Rukum.  To date, the number of earthquake survivors brought from quake-stricken districts here for treatment has reached 38.

Till last midnight, five injured people underwent successful surgeries, according to the CDO. The condition of all the injured is improving, it is said.
