KHOTANG, May 10: District Election Office(DEO), Khotang has called on the political parties to abide by the election code of conduct strictly.
The DEO in Khotang district has written a letter to the parties urging them to follow the election code of conduct for ensuring impartial, free and transparent election.

The parties were sent copies of Election Code, 2015 and Local Level Election Code, 2017 along with the letter with a view to reminding them of electoral code of conduct, DEO chief Dinesh Khatri told Republica Online.
The DEO took an iniatiative in reminding the parties of the election code of conduct following complaints regarding the violation of election code of conduct such as the use of minors in the election campaign and fixing pamphlets on prohibited areas.
