KATHMANDU, May 13: Police have filed a case against 'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun for allegedly violating the election code of conduct. The South Indian cinema icon, Allu Arjun, is facing charges for visiting an MLA's house without prior permission from the constituency's Returning Officer.
According to reports from Indian media, the actor's visit to the MLA's residence occurred without the necessary authorization, prompting authorities to take legal action against both Allu Arjun and the YSRCP candidate on Saturday evening.

According to a report by NDTV, Allu Arjun visited the MLA's house to show his support on the last day of campaigning. On learning about his visit, a large number of his fans gathered outside the house to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.
The case has been registered under Section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by a public servant) of the Indian Penal Code at the local Two Town police station.
Since Section 144 of the Election Code and Section 31 of the AP Police Act were in force, the case was registered against the actor and the MLA.
On Saturday, Allu Arjun visited the residence of his friend Silpa Ravi, a YSRCP leader and Lok Sabha candidate from Andhra Pradesh. The unplanned gathering of fans prompted the police to take action and register a case for violating the election code of conduct.
Silpa Ravi, who invited Allu Arjun to her house without informing the police, is also named in the case alongside the actor.
