Elections possible only with consent of all parties: Rana

BHAKTAPUR, Jan 12: Rastriya Prajatantra Party National Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana has said that the elections were not possible without the consent of all political parties. 



In a press meet organized by the Rafat Sanchar Club here on Thursday, leader Rana opined for addressing the demands of Tarai centric parties even by amending the constitution. However, the provision related to the naturalized citizenship certificate holders, as mentioned in the constitution amendment bill, should not be made liberal, he opined.

In another context, leader Rana added that the nationality was weakening these days. He further urged to finalize the issue of Hindu state through referendum. 



Leader Rana criticized the government's step of changing CEO of National Reconstruction Authority instead of providing relief and intensifying the reconstruction works. 


The RPP national president Rana shared that the Cabinet might be expanded and the party is going to join the government under the leadership of party Chairman Kamal Thapa. RSS
