Electoral alliance with Democratic Socialist Party unlikely: Minister Yadav

KATHMANDU, April 1: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management, Renu Kumari Yadav has said that there is a need to form an alliance between the ruling parties in the upcoming local-level election.

KATHMANDU, April 1: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management, Renu Kumari Yadav has said that there is a need to form an alliance between the ruling parties in the upcoming local-level election. 


Talking to media persons at Janakpur Airport on Friday, Minister Yadav, who is also a leader of Janata Samajbadi Party, however, said that it is not sure if there will be an electoral alliance among the ruling parties in the local level elections. She also said that the chances of forming an alliance with Mahantha Thakur’s Democratic Socialist Party is unlikely in the upcoming election.

Minister Yadav argued that there is no election coordination with Thakur’s party and her party as the two parties were ideologically different. She also said that she will move ahead by collaborating with different parties as per the situation in the upcoming elections.
