Ethiopia’s ex-PM Tamrat in Pokhara

POKHARA, Nov 5: Former Prime Minister of Ethiopia Layne Tamrat visited Rupakot and Begnas Lake in panoramic Pokhara City.

POKHARA, Nov 5: Former Prime Minister of Ethiopia Layne Tamrat visited Rupakot and Begnas Lake in panoramic Pokhara City. 


Prime Minister Tamrat has come Nepal leading a 12-member delegation including former executive officer of American Express – a popular commercial organization. His delegation had visited prime tourism hubs of Lekhnath on Sunday.

In course of his three-day visit, the ex-PM’s delegation also made a feasibility study for foreign investment in Pokahara, shared Padma Raj Poudel, a young entrepreneur and social worker. 


The delegation had expressed confidence noting the country’s economic level would be boosted following the establishment of a stable government. 


The Ethiopian delegation drew a conclusion that Nepal has vast potentials to reap immoderate benefits from tourism and agriculture sectors. 


“Tourism and agriculture could play spectacular role for Nepal’s development”, said Ben Smith, former Executive Officer of American Express and a member of visiting delegation. 


Meanwhile, the delegation had extended educational aid of USD 2,500 for poor and genuine students of Ananda Jyoti Secondary School in Pokhara Metropolitan City-31, Begnas. RSS
