POKHARA, July 29: A school bus accident in Pokhara has resulted in the deaths of a mother and her son. The deceased are 33-year-old Aarti BK, an office assistant at LP Devkota Memorial School, and her 5-year-old son, Prince BK.
Prince BK, who was seriously injured in the accident, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Gandaki Medical College. In total, 28 people were injured.

The accident occurred this morning in Kristi, Pokhara-21, involving the LP Devkota Memorial School bus (Ga 1 Ka 6219). According to the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which fell approximately 50 meters off the road.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College and Manipal Teaching Hospital, as reported by Kaski Police.
