BIRATNAGAR, April 11: A person was killed while another injured after a vehicle (Ba 3 Cha 7962) after a car used by former king Gyanendra Shah hit a motorcycle (Ko 15 Pa 9978) at Itahari-8 yesterday night.
The car was returning from the airport after dropping Shah when it hit the motorcyclist at Sundar Haraicha-4. Armed Police Force constable Dipendra Prasad Lamsal was driving the car.
The deceased has been identified as Hem Chaudhary.

The motorcyclist, Prakash Chaudhary and the pillion, Hem, were critically injured. Both of them were rushed to Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar for treatment, according to Ghanshyam Shrestha, spokesperson of District Police Office –Morang.
The police have taken the vehicle and its driver in custody and investigating accordingly, Shrestha said.
