KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is flying to the United States of America for his heath checkups on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is flying to the United States of America for his heath checkups on Saturday. 


He was diagnosed with Prostate Tumor (Cancer) while examining his health in India last month.

Issuing a press release today before his departure to the United States, former President Dr Yadav said that he is flying to the US as per the suggestion of the Nepal Medical Council since doctors attending him advised to remove the tumor at the earliest possible. 


According to the release, time has been taken to perform surgery of cancer on the former President Dr Yadav at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit City of Michigan State of the US. 


Dr Yadav has expressed his confidence that with the best wishes of the people he would gain good health and return home to serve the country again. 


Former President Dr Yadav has thanked the government for providing economic and administrative assistance in course of his treatment. RSS
